These are some of the key questions that were asked and answered at an elite workshop for HR business leaders, hosted at ESCP Europe Business School in March 2016. ESCP Europe is currently ranked as the 11th best business school in Europe by the Financial Times. The Mega Trends workshop included HR leaders from leading international organisations including the European Central Bank, Johnson Matthey, and Bouygues.
The workshop was delivered by Professor Terence Tse, known for his research on Mega Trends for Harvard Business Review. He has also advised the European Commission in this area. Terence earned his PhD from Cambridge University in Management Studies and is a Professor of Finance at ESCP Europe. He is a regular contributor to the Financial Times, The Economist, and others.
Managing Mega Trends is a continuing theme of work at ESCP Europe. This has included consultations with the CEOs and C-level executives of major organisations in the UK, such as Legal & General, AIG, American Express, Informa, Crawford, Hampshire Trust Bank, etc. Xavier Rolet, CEO of the London Stock Exchange, will be publishing a joint research paper on Mega Trends with Professor Tse, and a Mega Trends workshops will take place at the London Stock Exchange in September 2016.
