On the evening of 21st June 2016, ESCP Europe's London campus opened its doors to a fantastic crowd of more than 150 alumni for the School's annual Garden Party.
Guests were joined by 50 members of staff and faculty, as well as corporate partners and members of the ESCP Europe Foundation, allowing former students the perfect occasion to reconnect with the School.
The evening began with a presentation delivered by Dean Frank Bournois which outlined the current strategy and positioning of the School. He was followed by UK Director Simon Mercado, Secretary General Etienne Desmet, and ESCP Europe Foundation's Chairman Patrick Gounelle (72), and a lively Q&A session. Unfortunately, Alumni Association Board Member Anne Jourdain (90) could not make it for her speech after being held up on her Eurostar journey. With the speeches concluded, guests were welcomed to the student lounge and courtyard for a delightful evening of networking drinks accompanied by live music. The buffet reception offering a variety of delicious meals was provided by our Alumni caterers: Kalimera Foods Ltd (Télémaque Argyriou, EMBA 2007 Alumnus), La Belle Assiette (Giorgio Riccò, MIM 2011 Alumnus), Gail's Bakery (Saskia Porretta Menne, MSc in Marketing & Creativity 2013 Alumnus), Caterwings (Sebastian Kloss, MIM 2010 Alumnus), and Wine and Espumantes: El Esteco - Grupo Peñaflor (Cyriaque Houdoux, current MSc in Marketing & Creativity 2016 student).
The annual Alumni Garden Party is a major event in ESCP Europe's events calendar and we would like to thank all our guests for making it so special. It was a true pleasure to welcome our Alumni and corporate partners for a memorable evening and we hope to see you again very soon at the London campus.
